So lets have some cheeriness with a new planner dashboard using some of the fab planner goodies from A&M Memories.

I've taken the March monthly kit and used it to make my dashboard and added, of course, a fairy digi stamp Butterfly Betsy, that I coloured up with my copics.

Winter Solstice

Hi there crafty buddies,

I've got a new planner for this year and its pretty mahoosive!! so as our lovely Janice over at Scrappers Delights has a new release on her digi images I've used Winter Solstice to make a dashboard for my January spreads. I know January is gone now but this is my sharing date so I've been using her already.

Did you know that the winter solstice, also known as midwinter, is an astronomical phenomenon marking the day with the shortest period of daylight and the longest night of the year. We had ours in the UK on 21st December.

Isn't this Winter Solstice a beauty? Just look at all that hair. You can find her here at the store
http://scrappersdelights.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=6

I coloured her up with copics using BG's and RV's and BV's for her hair. I forgot to write down the actually colours.. sorry.. I used some of the elements from the Xmas Unicorn planner kit to create the background for her, you can find this kit at the store to using the link above.

Pancake heaven

Hi crafty friends,

Whos getting ready for Pancake Day then?  Its on Tuesday 13th February just before Valentines, so pancakes and lovingness!!! Its a day when everyone can dig in and feel the love!!

Shrove Tuesday marks the last day before Lent, traditionally a period of abstinence, associated with clearing your cupboards of goodies suchs as sugar, fats and eggs. Traditionally pancakes were eaten on this day to use up these foods before the 40 day fasting of Lent. Some believe the ingredients used in pancakes may actually represents the four pillars of the Christian faith.
Flour as the staff of life, eggs as creation, milk as purity and salt as wholesomeness. The day is important in the Christian faith, but Pancake Day is widely celebrated by those outside the faith to.

So our Nikky at Polkadoodles has created some cuties for Pancake day or any other day when you might eat pancakes, od course there is not limit to eating a pancake!!

Check out this sweeties in the store
http://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/added-feb-2018/

I got a free stack of pancakes image of the internet and added the  Miss Sugarpops to them and coloured her with copics.

Princess and the Pea

Hi there crafty buddies,

I've got some great news for you!!! The awesome Julia Spiri has produced another colouring book. Oh my its just awesome. This is one of the images The Princess and The Pea.

I just love that story, imagine how one little pea could cause so much grief LOL. So how many matrresses were there between the pea and the Princess?

Here's an extract from Hans Christian Andersen's' original tale:
“Well, we’ll soon find that out,” thought the old queen. But she said nothing, went into the bed-room, took all the bedding off the bedstead, and laid a pea on the bottom; then she took twenty mattresses and laid them on the pea, and then twenty eider-down beds on top of the mattresses.

You can find the campaign for the new book right here:
 https://www.kickstarter.com/…/whimsical-wonders-coloring-bo…
The campaign is offering the book, the original illustrations, exclusive images in PDF for backers and more....go take a lookie.

I used a template from Scrappers Delights for the story book and wrote a few lines from the story and added the image on the other side and then coloured it with copics.

Sloth Planner kits

Hello crafty buddies,
Are you ready for some new planner kits from our Janice over at Scrappers delights?

The kits are all about sloths. I just love sloths. Have any of you seen the animated film Zootropolis? Well if you love sloths and bunnies to its definitely for you.

Did you know?
  • Sloths can move along the ground at just 2 m (6.5 ft) per minute! In the trees they are slightly quicker at 3 m (10 ft) per minute.
  • Sloths can swim 3 times faster than they can move on land and can hold their breath for up to 40 minutes.
There are stickers, pe-coloured and to colour, dashboards, washi tape, box planners, add on kit and soooo much more take a lookie
You can find everything here at the store
