Kleokatra

Hi there crafty friends,

Today I'm sharing a little ATC that I made for my crafty buddy Annabel the pawesome artiste responsible for Knitty Kitty digi stamps. This is Kleokatra.

The Ancient Egyptians held cats in the highest esteem, the penalties for injuring or killing a cat were severe. They worshipped a Cat Goddess, often represented as half feline, half woman, whom they called Bastet. Of course Kleokatra was one of the most famous of all Egyptian Queens.

During more than two decades as Egypt’s last independent pharaoh, she engaged in ruthless power struggles with her siblings, battled the future Roman emperor and engaged in military alliances—and passionate affairs—with Julius Caesar and Mark Antony.
She was known for her amazing beauty at the time, but a coin was found that was 2,000 years old. It showed that she was not as beautiful as she was made out to be. Her picture showed a sharp chin and nose with a flat mouth. No rouged lips or plump cheeks there. Story of my life !!

You can find her here at the store
https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/495552164/digi-stamp-instant-download-kleokatra?ref=shop_home_active_12

Peggy

Hello buddies,

We've got a new challenge starting over at th Sheepski Designs Facebook Group come and join us, Anything Goes https://www.facebook.com/groups/1730005463906336/

I've chosen to use Peggy. Don't you just love a flying horse?
Pegasus was a flying horse in Greek mythology, usually depicted as white coloured. So mines a little variation. His father was Poseidon and his mother was the Gorgon Medusa. Wow what a parentage.

You can find Andea's Peggy right here at the store

Garden Bouquet

Hi crafty peeps,

It seems like ages since a coloured anything that was just florals and this is such a beautiful image from Conie Fong. Look at all that array of flowers its s stunner.
I love to see flowers in unusual containers don't you? Last year I went to a local flower show and they had some fabulous displays with flowers on dressers, in wheelbarrows, teapots and old saucepans. They looked divine. I love a bit of quirky in a garden.

There are 2 versions of this fabulous image this one with the watering can and another with a pair of wellington boots. You can find them both here at the store:
https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/608123807/sale-digital-stamp-digi-stamp-digistamp?ref=shop_home_active_4
https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/608124609/sale-digital-stamp-digi-stamp-digistamp?ref=shop_home_active_2

I coloured the image using copics and cut it out using pretty die from Tonic. Lucky I had some matching card to mount it all onto. After all these years you would think I would remember to match the card/paper to the colouring before I start. LOL

Bookworm Katrina

Hi everyone,

Hands up, who loves a good book? Me to. I've always been an avid reader and will read just about any type of book. I do like a good book that has an unexpected twist at the end and some of the teen books are just brilliant to.

For this weeks planner spread I've chosen the Bookworm weekly kit and the Bookworm Katrina digi image that goes with it to. I coloured her with copics and added the kit around the image. I used some of the books in the digi image and just made them into a stack of books without the lady.

You can find the Bookworm weekly kit here at the store:
https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/599401867/weekly-kitprintable-planner-stickers?ref=shop_home_active_23

and the Bookworm Katrina digi image to match to

and the doggie birthday stickers

Shaylee Bubbles and Sweet Breena Fairies

Hi there crafty buddies,

I've made a new spread for my planner and as you know I'm a bit of a fairy freak!! so I've used 2 of Janice's fairy images from the great selection over at Scrappers Delights.

Both these images are in the fabulous colouring books but are also available separately to.
You can find them  here at the store
http://scrappersdelights.com/store/index.phpmain_page=product_info&cPath=89_90&products_id=1001
http://scrappersdelights.com/store/index.phpmain_page=product_info&cPath=89_90&products_id=979

I coloured them up with copics and I used some stencils and distress oxide inks to add the rest of the colours and elements to the spread. I die Shaylee Bubbles with a tonic die and fussy cut Sweet Breena and the butterfly.

Special times

Hi crafty buddies,

Its time for a new challenge over at the Polkadoodles Crafting Challenge.
Why don't you come and join us and show us your beautiful projects, Anything Goes
 https://polkadoodle.blogspot.co.uk/

For my inspiration I'm using one of the beautiful new stamp sets from our Nikky, Special times. The DT are making projects with anything that is not a card so I used this great stamp set and made a hanging decoration using a heart from a local bargain store.

You can find it here at the store:
http://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/march-product-releases/

I made a background using brushos and then stamped some of the elements from the set on the back in black and pink. I stamped the lovely little girl and using some of my background to make her dress and coloured the rest of her in with copics. I added her to the heart with some pretty ribbon to hang it up.

Bella Bear

Hi buddies

What is it about Bears that makes us all warm and fuzzy? They are just so cuddly and these new cuties from Conie Fong are no exception
They are quite human like in some ways especially as they can walk upright like people. This is pretty cool as long as you are far away LOL and of course they love to fly with a bunch of balloons.

You can find these cuties here at the store
