Well its officially Springtime in the UK, lets hope so, no more of that white stuff!! Won't it be nice to start to some some pretty flowers?

Summer Solstice and Autumn Equinox

Hi there crafty buddies,

As you know I've got my mahoosive planner for this year!! so as our lovely Janice over at Scrappers Delights has a new release on her digi images I've used both of them for my March Spread. They are Summer Solstice and Autumn Equinox.

The seasons of the year are directly connected to both the solstices and the equinoxes. The days are longer around the summer solstice and shorter around the winter solstice. When the Sun's path crosses the equator, the length of the nights at latitudes +L° and -L° are of equal length. This is known as an equinox. There are two solstices and two equinoxes in a tropical year.

I coloured them up with copics and I used some of the elements from the sloth planner kit to create the spreads for them, you can find this kit at the store to using the link above. I also added some elements like the butterflies and honeycomb background using stencils and distress oxide inks.

Ellies

Hello lovelies,

I've got a brand new release from Conie Fong to share with you today. Its little elephants.... Yeah. You can't beat a cute elephant and these sweeties are no exception.

No here's a thing or two about baby elephants:
The Mama will be pregnant for around 22 months. When the baby elephant is finally born, it can weigh around 200 lbs. (91 kg) and stand about 3 feet (1 m) tall. No that's mahoosive!!

I've chosen to use Mika, wow isn't she just a beautiful angel. I would love to have wings like that all feathery and delicate. Not that I want to be an angel just yet!! of course that's assuming that I may have the criteria to become one anyway.
Have you seen that John Travolta movie 'Michael' where he's an angel, Michael is less than angelic: he drinks, smokes and basks in the attention of women. Oh dear it all turns out ok in the and though.

I've used the elements from the Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Springtime embellies collection to to make my Easter themed stickers and washi tape.

Sprintime Suzette and Bunny Ears Angela

Hi everyone,

I seem to have Easter on my mind rather a lot at the moment.... Chocolate.... Bunnies.... Chocolate!! So much so that nearly all my March planner spreads have a Spring or Easter element to them to. This one is no exception and combines Spring and Easter using two great digi images from A&M memories

There is Springtime Suzette and Bunny Ears Angela. Guess which is which? LOL

I coloured them both with copics, added some stenciling using Distress Oxide inks and some of A&MMemories designs functional stickers to. The colourful laundry, coffee cup from coffee girl (blonde), colourful mail and Confident Cassy down in the right hand corner

Colour me printable planner

Easter Blessings

I'm so looking forward to Easter,I do like to remember the real reason we remember this time of year but I do also like to have an Easter Egg or 6!! Especially those Cadbury Creme Eggs ( other cream eggs are also available) they are my favourite and the mini eggs to. Far to moreish that's the only trouble. AND of course Easter is a great time for another one of my favourites BUNNIES!!

Emma Rose

Hello snow buddies !!

Lordy all this snow. The Beast from the East has certainly happened in the UK together with it meeting Storm Emma ( who thinks up these names!!) its igloo land... like we didn't have enough of it before Christmas.. This time for us its actually not as much as then and we seem to have some very kindly people who have cleared and gritted all the pavements in our estate.

Now how strange i that a storm named after Conie Fong's new image. This lovely is Emma Rose. Hair hair and more hair... she's a beauty.

Winnie Celebrations 2

Hi there

Its time for a new challenge over at the Polkadoodles Crafting Challenge, don't they come round so quickly and we're into March already? Easter is just around the corner to hmmm scrummy egg time!!
So the Polkadoodles challenge is of course Anything Goes and the DT are going along with a celebrations theme.

What better then than one of those fabby doo Winnie Celebrations images for my project this week.
I've chose to use Celebration 2 for the main Winnie and then Kit 3 for the cloud paper and Kit 1 for the spotty paper. Mixing it up a bit LOL
