Painter/Decorator

Hi crafty buddies,

I'm sharing some inspiration today for the challenge over at the Polkadoodles Crafting Challenge. Come and join us, Anything Goes https://polkadoodle.blogspot.co.uk/

So as the DT are doing Sunshine Yellows I chose the female painter/decorator from the Work and Play Collection 11.
I quite like a bit of decorating especially hanging wallpaper and painting on big walls, not so keen on the gloss work on the doors and skirting as have a habit of getting it on the carpet and then I'm told off!!

You can find the whole collection here http://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/work-play-11-download-digital-crafting-collection/
and the image on its own here http://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/female-painter-decorator-decorating-digital-stamp-download/

This month our theme is Summer Colours.

Would love to see your entries there to win some of Conie's great images
https://www.facebook.com/groups/396730687168777/?fref=ts

I hope you're having a bit of summer where you are. I've got a few summer factoids for you, you know I like to tell you stuff!!

  • The iron in the Eifel Tower expands in the summer making it grow by more than 6 inches.
  • Summer is the by far the busiest time at movie theaters in the USA and Hollywood always hopes to earn a significant portion of total annual ticket sales through summer blockbuster months. To date, the top 10 most famous summer blockbusters of all time are 1) Jaws, 2) Star Wars, 3) Jurassic Park, 4) The Dark Knight, 5) Raiders of the Lost Ark, 6) E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, 7) Forrest Gump, 8) Ghostbusters, 9) Animal House, and 10) Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
  • The month of June was named after either Juniores, the lower branch of the roman Senate, or Juno, the wife of Jupiter.
