Our Nikky at Polkadoodles has brought out this fab mini collection Winnie Wednesday. Guess most of you remember the Adams Family so Winnie is being Wednesday... what a cool little poppet she was to such a smiley character. I particular liked it when she went to summer camp remember that!!?

You can find the collection right here at the store

Wynona Witch

Hi crafty buddies,

I've a spooktacular new release for you today from the lovely Conie Fong. There are 4 new images in total all based around this little cutie. I've chosen to use this little witch, well I ask you how scary is she !!??

You can find her and all the other new images right here at the store
https://www.etsy.com/shop/ConieFongArt?ref=hdr_shop_menu

Trick-or-treating harks back to the Middle Ages and All Souls’ Day, when poor people in Britain would beg for soul cakes, a sweet-bread treat, and pray for dead relatives in return. When trick-or-treating first became popular in the United States in the 1800s, more children played mischievous pranks than asked for candy. By the 1950s, though, the focus had switched to good old family fun, with sugar-hyped children dressed in costumes.

The candy-collecting tradition has spread from the United States to Canada, Australia, and Western Europe, where more and more little goblins now trick-or-treat.

I've used a set of dies from X cut to create my spooky trick or treat scene and some pumpkins from Sue Wilson.

Harley

Hello crafty peeps,

Time for a new challenge over at the Sheepski Facebook Group, Anything Goes with a Sheepski image. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1730005463906336/

I'm using the fabulous Harley, what an awesome name for this scooter chick to. Isn't she just fab? I've teamed her up with a great Stampendous background scene stamp to, I thought it was ideal.

Scooters always remind of that cult movie Quadrophenia, not sure if I would have been a MOD or a Rocker!! Like the jackets for them both!!

You can find her here at the store https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/525761586/harley-image-no-103?ref=shop_home_active_8

Winnie White Christmas - Reindeer Cracker and Snowglobe

Hello Polkadoodles fans,

I'm sharing the last of my makes for the  New Winter/Christmas release
Winnie White Christmas
You can find the big kahuna download right here at the store together with all the images, papers etc
http://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/winnie-white-christmas-big-kahuna-download-kit-digital-printables/

For my last 2 projects I've made a little Christmas Cracker using one of the lush papers and the so cute Winnie all dressed up as Rudolph, Oh my how cute it that, the nose is just so awesome makes you want to squidge it!! I coloured it with copics using E29, 35, 33, 34, 31 for the reindeer outfit and the node was R39, 35, 29, 24

AND for my final project until the up and coming Polkadoodles challenges is a snow globe with Winnie making a snowball. I covered the whole image when coloured with some sticky back glitter paper to. Wow that was scarey at least I didn't mess it up and have to start again. LOL I used flowers from the collection and recoloured them in My Craft Artist to match my image colouring and a sentiment from the word art in the collection to.

A bicycle made for two - Winnie Special Moments

Hi Crafty buddies

Its time for a brand new challenge over at the Polkadoodles Crafting Challenge Blog. Anything Goes and great Polkadoodles prizes to be won. https://polkadoodle.blogspot.co.uk/

The DT are using a design sheet, so I've chosen one from the Winnie Special Moments Collection. It's just packed with special moments that you might be able to relate to in your life to. This reminds me of learning to ride a bike I had stabilisers to start and then Dad decided to let me on the grass without them thinking it would break my fall!!! and I just rode off on it. LOL not so steady now on a bicycle.

You can find the big kahuna download here:
http://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/winnie-special-moments-big-kahuna-digi-kit-download/
and you can also get the sheet on its own to
http://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/a-bicycle-made-for-two-design-sheet-winnie-special-moments-craft-digi-download/

I made a twisted easel card with the design sheet and 2 of the fab papers from the collection.

Fairies also like to drink root beer, flower nectar, iced coffee, hot chocolate, pomegranate juice, and iced tea

Slow is Good

Hi crafty peeps,

Its time for a new challenge over at Sheepski Designs Facebook Group.
You can use any Sheepski image that you wish and its Anything Goes so come and join us here in the group
https://www.facebook.com/groups/1730005463906336/?ref=br_tf

Andrea has only recently drawn this little cutie, OH my isn't he adorable. I so want to go hangout with him. I coloured him with prismacolor pencils
Here's a bit of stuff you may not know about sloths:
  • Sloths are slow, but their insides are even slower. If your sausage and bacon breakfast is taking a little longer than usual to move its way down your tummy, spare a thought for the poor sloth – it takes him 30 days to digest just one leaf.
  • Sloths are cute. FACT. An obvious fact, but a fact nonetheless.
  • Sloths don’t stink. Sloths don’t sweat and have no body odour, which helps them avoid predators.
You can find the image over at the store

As you know for the next 3 months I'm working with the Scrappers Delights Challenge team providing inspiration for the blog challenge

Come and join us great prizes to be won

I love a unicorn and I thought a rainbow maned one would be a bit magical.

Did you know? The earliest record of unicorns in Western literature belongs to Greek historian Ctesias. In the 5th century BCE, he wrote that the beast had a white body, purple head, blue eyes, and a multicolored horn—red at the tip, black in the middle, and white at the base.

This month I'm doing an extra project for the lovely Andrea at Sheepski Designs for the blog challenge and this months theme is Flower Power.

Kitmas in July/August

Hi crafty buddies,

We're getting well into the old Christmas card making now and I've got some great Christmas cuties to share with you from my crafty buddy Annabel of Knitty Kitty Digi's.

From the 31st July til the 6th August Knitty Kitty Digis will be hosting a giveaway on Facebook and Instagram. There’s a chance to win the full set of snow scene stamps! That’s 19 digistamps! Four of the sets are available to view on Etsy already, but the fifth set featuring Santa Paws will be released later this week. Here are the Etsy Links for the stamps

There is another chance to win the full set on Instagram. ( Annabel will be giving away two full sets.)

If you would to take part there are two options. (You are fine to do both if you would like to.)
  • Follow, Like and Comment on the Giveaway post in Instagram for knittykittydigis.
  • Or enter any Christmas project, or a project featuring a Knitty Kitty Digistamp into the Kitmas Giveaway Photo Album in the facebook group!

The Instagram winner will be chosen at random but Annabel will choose a winner from the projects entered on Facebook.
(Top tip, you will have a far greater chance of winning if you take part on Facebook, a lot more people normally enter on Instagram!)

Hi crafty friends,

Conie Fong's little drawing pencil has been running away with her this month. I have another new release from her, this beauty is Delilah

Reminds of that Tom Jones song, for those of you like me who are old enough to remember. My Granny used to love Tom Jones and actually got to say I'm a bit partial to the silver bear myself.

I coloured her with copics

Hair E57, E43, E53
